I found this post while looking for a way to change my Living Social password. After frustratedly searching then entire account section to no avail, I finally found the underhanded solution.

Go to the login page and click "Forgot Password" (here: https://livingsocial.com/deals/external_people/forgot_password). This will allow you to reset your password to anything you like.

It's not perfect by any means, but if you're still looking for a way to do it, there it is.

Good observation!

Also to me it looks as if this is some kind of revenge for not paying for advertising. Another ill development of a failing economic system.

We live in an era of excess products and services in many countries and not enough to do (in terms of producing things/services) for people.

We are overdue to change the way our economy works. "Growth" has been pushed beyond ridiculous and has been working against most people for decades.
Aggressive marketing, planned obsolescence and corporate media control have done their best to keep the unsustainable and resource wasting system alive much too long beyond its need.

Thanks, Galen. This was very heplpful. It's easy to forget that the rest of the world, let alone the rest of the church, doesn't necessarily know what your group is about. And doesn't know what they have to do to join you.

Lindasusan emailed a link to a resource she created which might also help: http://www.horizonsfoundation.org/pdf/ProducingGreatMaterials.pdf. I'm going to link to it in next week's Flame, but the info is there now.

I am going to put your suggestions to work immediately. It will be interesting to see if avoiding the dreaded "meeting" & "Committee" words and replacing them with action words works to get more people involved. That is the reason for sending out the invitations andyway.

First I would suggest that people join in to "Rally, March, Gather, Plan, Plot, and Talk!" Go directly to what's being planned, instead of proposing a generic meeting.

When using a verb is too awkward I've used seminar, discussion, strategy session, and brainstorming. For specific groups you can delve into the lexicon of that profession: an artists salon, maybe.
